Spielplatz Bunter Garten

The Spielplatz Bunter Garten in Mönchengladbach has been extensively renovated by the city's Green Maintenance Department in cooperation with the Förderverein "Netzwerk Bunter Garten e.V.". Thanks to donations from local residents and businesses, many new play equipment pieces were acquired. Attractions include a nest swing, a mikado slide, an octopus, a triple swing, a wobbling bee-shaped animal, a carousel, a spiral slide, and a sand construction site. The offerings are complemented by a small trampoline and a ping pong table. The playground is designed for children aged 1 to 12 years.

The original playground, built in 1956, had aged and was now renovated due to strong public interest. The Förderverein worked with great commitment to ensure the modernization. In the summer, an ice cream truck adds to the offerings. Next to the playground is a large ball field that invites soccer playing. Basketball can also be played here.
