Description

The Stadtmuseum Aichach features a comprehensive permanent exhibition on the history and culture of Aichach and its surroundings from the Middle Ages to the late 20th century.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum regularly hosts changing special exhibitions on exciting topics that are interesting for families.

Highlights include the multimedia special exhibition “Hidden Treasures: Artists’ Estates” 🎨, offering insights into the culturally significant heritage of local artists.

For children aged 8 and up, there is the creative workshop “Feeding Birds – Protecting the Environment”, where you can build your own bird feeders from recycled materials and learn about environmental awareness hands-on.

Furthermore, public tours and events like “Spooky Legends and Autumn Frights” invite you to mysterious stories and theater during an atmospheric guided walk.

A free tour at the Wittelsbacher Museum spans from the Stone Age through fascinating archaeological finds to an impressive panoramic view that connects past and present.
