Description

The Stadtmuseum Lahr is located in the former production site of the C.H. Liermann stove and stoneware factory, closely tied to the region's industrial heritage. It features fascinating historical exhibits such as the 1924 Bussolentheodolit and a bookbinding press from the St. Johannis print shop dating back to 1910.

The museum is the perfect place to explore Lahr’s development over 800 years – embodied by the distinctive building of the Stork Tower. Families can regularly join public tours and engaging programs about history and exhibitions.

Variety is offered by rotating special exhibitions, including wooden flower sculptures by Jean-Luc Ringwald and upcoming presentations by local artists like Hans Reif and Hayno Focken. A visit is worthwhile for anyone wanting to experience history up close! 🌿
