Stadtpark Zwiesel

The park stretches along the Regen River just below the city center. This green lung of the glass city enchants with tall, old trees and its location right by the babbling water. There is also a water-treading basin for Kneipp therapy enthusiasts. The freely accessible area is centrally located on the footpath between the train station and the city center; a small bridge decorated with motifs from Zwiesel's glass history also leads to the factory outlet of Zwiesel Kristallglas AG.

The adventure playground in Stadtpark is beautifully situated and is one of more than 15 playgrounds in Zwiesel. Slides, swings, climbing – children of all ages can let off steam here. During the summer months, children under supervision are allowed to splash in the adjoining river, build sandcastles, or enjoy water play.
