Description

The Städtisches Museum Kitzingen offers fascinating insights into nearly 1300 years of the city's history and the early settlement of the region.

On two floors, you'll find about 2,500 exhibits covering politics, society, economy, and archaeology. A special highlight is the alchemy section and the historic Rüdenhausen castle pharmacy with around 700 museum pieces from the 19th century.

In the publicly accessible storage, you can explore an interesting collection of paintings featuring city and town views as well as portraits of notable figures from Kitzingen. The city history exhibition shows the topographic development since the year 1629 and the significant transformation processes of the city that are still visible today.
