Steinskulpturen

The Steinskulpturen show friendly, approachable figurative works that children respond to easily and invite you to make up your own stories.

On display are, among others, the family-themed sculpture Vater Mutter Kind, the figurative child figure Dumbo as well as the heavenly motifs Beflügelt ins Licht and Engel – works that encourage storytelling, empathy, and wonder. The sculptures vary in material and finish: granite (characteristic for the Mühlviertel), sandstone, marble and concrete casts offer different colors and tactile experiences. 🪨
