Steinzeitpark Dithmarschen, Albersdorf

Description
The goal of Steinzeitpark is to recreate a cultural landscape from around 5,000 years ago during the Neolithic period across about 40 hectares – making it accessible and engaging for both young and old. A time-travel adventure through Steinzeitpark Albersdorf offers an unforgettable experience, filled with vivid impressions of our ancestors' formative era.
To portray the life of the first farmers and animal herders, a Stone Age farmer or farmeress lives in the Neolithic village. During the park's opening hours, they bring the reconstructed farmhouse “Pennigbüttel” from the middle Neolithic period around 3200 BC to life.
The hunter-gatherer camp focuses on hunters, fishermen, and gatherers from the period from the end of the Ice Age about 10,000 years ago until the beginning of the farming Stone Age (Neolithic).
The Steinzeithaus Museum, opened in March 2023, offers a tour through the Stone Age epochs in Schleswig-Holstein and Dithmarschen.
