Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen

Description
The Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen showcases over 130 legendary cars from Volkswagen's history, including rare studies, prototypes, and special unique models like the movie star Herbie, a wooden Beetle, and a floating Golf with hydraulic pontoons.
Visitors can explore the development of iconic Volkswagen models such as the Beetle, the popular Bulli (Type 2), air-cooled mid-range vehicles, and the Golf, which replaced the Beetle in 1974. The museum also features milestones from Volkswagen's motorsport history and displays successes across almost every terrain.
The museum is located very close to the Volkswagen factory, offering a unique chance to experience Volkswagen's design history within walking distance of where new vehicles are produced. Regular special exhibitions focus on details of production history and provide especially exciting insights into automotive history for families.
