Strandbad Breitbrunn

The beach "Stadl" is located on the western shore of the Urfahrn Peninsula. The view over Lake Chiemsee, along with the picturesque sunsets, is truly unique here.

Along the roughly 3 m wide pebble beach is a well-maintained, spacious lawn area with mature trees that also provide plenty of shady spots. Thanks to a special staircase on the bathing jetty, people with disabilities can easily access the water. The anchored raft, the children's play and beach volleyball area are very popular with younger visitors. Hungry guests can relax in the outdoor area of the restaurant and enjoy the wonderful lake view while having coffee and cake, lunch, or dinner.

The local water rescue service is stationed in its own area and staffed on weekends during the swimming season.

The playground is part of the beach area but also freely accessible from the Chiemsee lakeside path. Suitable for children aged 3–14 years.
