Description
The Südtiroler Weinmuseum is located in the center of Kaltern, in the former tithe cellar of the Kaltern-Laimburg estate. The museum offers insight into the cultural history of South Tyrolean viticulture: from historical tools that guide visitors through the working year on the wine estate, to religious depictions that point to the many intersections between wine and religion. In the museum's own small vineyard, over 30 different grape varieties are cultivated and can also be tasted in the autumn.
