Südtiroler Archäologiemuseum presents the original finds and the story of the Man in the Ice – also known as Ötzi –, from the media frenzy at the discovery to research on the 5.000-year-old, exceptionally well-preserved ice mummy and its grave goods, plus fascinating interviews and interactive exhibits. The highlight of the exhibition is the lifelike reconstruction of the Man in the Ice. In addition, rotating special exhibitions on archaeological themes.
