Taggenbrunner Festspiele

Die Taggenbrunner Festspiele blend classical music (Mozart, Bach, Händel) with jazz, pop and musical theatre and offer a varied program for families. There are well-known melodies to sing along to (Beatles, musical hits, jazz standards) as well as musical highlights like My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables and Jesus Christ Superstar. Performances by soloists such as Johannes „JJ“ Pietsch and ensembles including members of the Wiener Philharmoniker bring orchestral sounds up close. Regional specialties like Kasnudl and Powidltatschkerl round off the evening. 🎭
