Tiergehege Hasseldieksdamm

Tiergehege Hasseldieksdamm covers an area of 12.7 hectares and is located between Skandinaviendamm, Melsdorfer Straße, and Hofholzallee. Here, you can find aurochs, bison, wisent, sika deer, and white moorland sheep. You can access the enclosure via Skandinaviendamm. The entrances are on Melsdorfer Straße at the corner of Hofholzallee and also on Skandinaviendamm.

The enclosure consists of a grassland lowland with a dense hedge network that borders the Hofholz forest to the east. The pastures contain several small ponds and some wetland areas such as reed beds, swamp and fen woodland sections, as well as moist herbaceous habitats. A circular walking path goes through the enclosure, connecting to a community garden area and a forest.
