Tierpark Herford

Tierpark Herford offers a wide variety of animal experiences with over 600 animals from 90 different species. The petting zoo is especially popular with the youngest visitors, where you can pet goats or feed swans. Little explorers will find a challenge at the meerkat enclosure, while the kangaroos stir curiosity about whether a joey is peeking out of the pouch. Two spacious playgrounds with slides, climbing structures, and a zip line give children plenty of chances to burn off energy. Adults can enjoy homemade cakes at Café Waldfrieden. The park is not only a place to encounter animals but also a spot for relaxation and leisure activities.
