Description
The Tiroler Volksschauspiele offer you a spectacular, circus-like staging of Romeo & Julia – perfect if you enjoy grand performances and visual wonder. 🎭
Herbert Pixner also composes and performs the music for the production "Feuernacht" – Herbert Pixner plays live, which gives the evening special sonic moments.
The atmosphere resembles a folk festival with several village stages and often sold-out performances. The program is rounded out by a marathon reading of Joseph Roth's texts ("Flucht ohne Ende") and an ensemble cast made up of well-known Tyrolean actresses and actors – themes include courage, flight, home, freedom and identity.
