Description

The Tuchfabrik Gebr. Pfau invites you to experience textile history come to life – from sheep’s fleece to finished fabric. For anyone interested in technology, fashion, or simply curious, there’s plenty to discover here.

A special highlight is the exhibition “Interwoven Echoes – Colors of Religions” featuring an art installation by Maja Gratzfeld, on view from September 4 to December 20.

Another highlight is the event “Threads of Memory”, where memories are shared, people reconnect, and the history of the textile industry stays alive. Visitors are invited to join discussions and experience eyewitness accounts.

Specifically for families and school groups, the museum offers interactive educational programs that provide fascinating insights into the textile past.

A video enhances the experience with compelling images and sounds about the museum and its history.
