Urweltmuseum Hauff

Get ready for a journey into prehistoric times at Urweltmuseum Hauff! Here you'll discover world-famous, 180-million-year-old fossils from the Holzmaden shale. You'll see amazing finds, including fossilized fish-lizards (ichthyosaurs), crocodiles, and sea lilies, which will transport you to another world! 🦕

But that's not all! Outside, a Dinosaur Park awaits you with eight life-sized dinosaurs from the Mesozoic Era. Here you can marvel at real dinosaur giants! For little explorers, there's also a special excavation area where you can dig up dinosaur bones yourselves. 🦴

On selected Sundays, Prof. Hauff's Children's Workshop invites you to creative activities. The museum is ideal for children aged 3 and up and even offers the chance to celebrate children's birthdays!
