Vojenské technické muzeum Lešany

Step into military history at the Vojenské technické muzeum Lešany, where the collection spans from 1890 to the present day. With more than 700 historical tanks, cannons, motorcycles and armored vehicles, plus rocket technology and other equipment, the exhibits are spread across ten halls, six covered shelters and an outdoor area.

Highlights include:

• A unique collection of Czechoslovak military vehicles from 1918–1939
• A collection of Škoda cannons
• Cold War rocket technology and tanks from both the Warsaw Pact and NATO
• Historical equipment demonstrated in motion in the museum arena during the spring opening of the season

The biggest annual event at the museum is the Tank Days, held on the last Saturday at the end of the summer holidays. The 22nd Tank Day presented equipment from both sides of the Cold War and drew over 20,000 visitors.
