Description
Volksgarten Mengede is a public park established in 1912 as a woodland park in the Dortmund district of Mengede, covering about 16 hectares. The layout of the paths is inspired by the design of English landscape gardens. In the 1920s, the largely forested area was expanded with playgrounds and sports fields for amateur sports, which still exist today.
