Description
Volkspark am Weinbergsweg in Berlin-Mitte is a city park protected as a garden monument, located in front of the Rosenthaler Tor. Created in 1956 on a former commercial and entertainment district destroyed during World War II, the park stretches on a hillside on a southwestern spur of the Barnim. Commonly called Weinbergspark, this four-hectare park is Berlin's smallest Volkspark. To the east, there once was a vineyard cultivated since the 18th century.
