Description
Jungfernheide is a forest east of Spandau. The once very extensive forest area was greatly reduced between around 1895 and 1960. In the south, the new districts Siemensstadt and Charlottenburg-Nord were created. A large central area became Berlin-Tegel Airport. Today, only a small part in the north west of the airport lake remains forest.
