Waldbad Bad Bodenteich

Waldbad Bad Bodenteich – a family-friendly outdoor pool in the Lüneburg HeathWaldbad Bad Bodenteich is located in the center of town and offers a wide range of activities for families, groups, and day visitors during the summer months. The highlight is the 50-meter pool with heated water. There is also a separate shallow pool, a kids’ area with water play equipment, a 36-meter-long large slide, and an additional wide slide.

The sunbathing lawn features play equipment, a mother-child area with a mud play zone, and a beach volleyball court. A kiosk serving ice cream, drinks, and snacks is located right by the pool. The pool is fully accessible for people with disabilities.

Since 2003, the Waldbad has been run by the Waldbad Bad Bodenteich e. V. support association, which organizes the season with great volunteer commitment. The owner is the municipality of Bad Bodenteich. Additional offerings include swimming courses, early swimming sessions, aqua fitness, and special event days for families. The pool is part of the "Junior Tour" – a family-friendly bike route within the certified RadReiseRegion Uelzen, connecting the outdoor pools in Bad Bodenteich and Wieren. During the summer months, children can collect stamps at stations and participate in a small prize draw.
