Waldbad Osterwald

At the end of November 1997, the association "Waldbad Osterwald e.V." was founded due to the impending closure of the pool, and the pool was taken over by the association. With around 300 members, it is now one of the largest clubs in Osterwald.

Since then, a complete renovation of the pool has been carried out on a volunteer basis with many helpers. Through numerous work efforts, the pool is maintained before and after the season by volunteers and is repeatedly modernized and beautified.

In the board's work, the individual departments are independently responsible for operations, finances, technology, lifeguarding, advertising, and events.

Today, Waldbad presents itself as a visitor-friendly facility equipped with the latest technology. There is a 50 m competition pool, a pool for non-swimmers with a slide, and an attractive toddler pool with a sunshade sail. Thanks to state-of-the-art cleaning technology, all pools are filled with crystal-clear, continuously monitored water, offering optimal swimming fun.
