Waldspielplatz am Molkenhaus

Description
The idyllic forest playground, located on a meadow, lies about 200 meters southeast of the National Park forest inn Molkenhaus, below the Hasselteich pond. Rustic seating with tables is scattered throughout the area, inviting you to enjoy a cozy picnic amid nature. Guests can conveniently reach the forest playground in the summer months – roughly from early April to mid-November – by bus line 875 from Bad Harzburg, stopping directly at the "Waldspielgelände" stop.
A visit to the Waldspielplatz can also be perfectly combined with other attractions in the Harz National Park. A detour to the National Park lynx enclosure at Rabenklippe offers popular lynx feedings on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. and is worth a trip at any time. Stopping by the National Park forest inns Molkenhaus or Rabenklippe provides a great chance to refresh yourself. The nearby wildlife observation station and the interactive forest exhibition at the HarzWaldHaus in Bad Harzburg are also rewarding destinations for the whole family.
