The Wasserfall in Bad Gastein plunges in three stages a total of 341 m through the town and gives you an impressive, up-close nature experience. The Gasteiner Ache rushes powerfully here – ideal for children who want to feel a wild river. 🌊
On the historic stone Wasserfallbogen (built 1840, expanded 1927) there are dramatic viewpoints and photo spots; many painters and poets found inspiration here. If you’re on foot, follow the Wasserfallweg, which runs right along the waterfall to Badbruck (closed in winter).
