Wasserschloss Geislingen
Description
The Wasserschloss Geislingen, with its three-winged layout and the two defensive moats, offers between them a spacious castle park that serves as a picturesque play and discovery area for families 🏰
In the park the octagonal porcelain pavilion from the 18th century stands out – covered on the outside with blue-red faience tiles that show biblical scenes and inspire wonder in children. In the east corner a simple, open wooden pavilion invites rest and small family gatherings.
A stone bridge path over the moats leads to the neoclassical portal façade of 1783 with a coat of arms – an atmospheric entrance that children like to explore. In the northwest wing, since 1985 the library and the city archive have been located – a family-friendly cultural use in the historic building.
