Description
Westpark is a park located in the Sendling-Westpark district of Munich. It was created for the 1983 International Garden Show (IGA) and has been open to the public ever since. After an extension, Westpark covers 69 hectares and stretches about 2.4 kilometers from east to west. The park is divided by the Mittlerer Ring into eastern and western sections, which are connected by a wide, green pedestrian and bicycle bridge.
