Description
The WIENXTRA-Medienzentrum is a location of WIENXTRA, the children's and youth program of the City of Vienna. Here everything revolves around media: you can try out video cameras, work in the studio, and create your own films, podcasts, or digital drawings. The offerings include workshops in creative, theater, show and cinema, and music.
The activities take place indoors and are aimed at children and young people aged 10 to 26. In the film projects, you learn every step of a video production, from your own film idea and storyboards to finding locations and editing. Some workshops end with a premiere screening of all the films created.
WIENXTRA is Vienna's children's and youth agency, working with the City of Vienna. Several venues run under its name, each with its own programme for children, teenagers and families – from children's cinema and games afternoons to media workshops and advice.
