Description
In Wilderer Museum Molln - Maultrommel & Handwerk children and families can experience the history of poachers from the Middle Ages to the present day – with a special focus on the local Molln tragedy, which is told through the exhibition. 🎯
A central experience is the long tradition of Maultrommel making (documented since 1647): there is a hands-on workshop in which you can see how the Maultrommel is made.
In addition, working workbenches show traditional woodcraft, the collection contains an extensive selection of rare weapons (especially interesting for older children and teenagers), and rotating special exhibitions ensure that returning is worthwhile – since May 2026 a contribution from the Molln Filmclub is also on display. For families with young children: suitable for children from 0 to 6 years.
