Description

Only European animal species are kept here, including eagle owls, common buzzards, barn owls, pheasants, woodland birds, European wildcats, Carpathian lynxes, European wolves, wisents, black, red, roe, mouflon, and European fallow deer, as well as pine martens.

Visitors have the opportunity to overlook the very spacious and species-appropriate enclosures and observe the animal residents not only from the paths but also from observation platforms. A visit to the Wildgatter in Oberrabenstein is an experience in every season.

The Wildgatter is located about four kilometers from the zoo and can easily be included in hikes through the Rabenstein Forest.
