Younger visitors can discover this firsthand in the nature-close wildcat experience area at the Nature Park Center. The recreated wildcat habitat invites you to playfully mimic the wildcat's way of life with its various features:

sneak past the fox den

rest in the tree hollow

Nature Park Center & Ehmetsklinge

The Wildkatzenwelt is located between the Nature Park Center with its indoor exhibition and the lake "Ehmetklinge." Together with the other outdoor facilities at the Nature Park Center and the lake kiosk, it makes for a great day trip for families.

How to make it a great day

Right by the Ehmetklinge with a view of the lake is the Wirtshaus am See with its lakeside terrace. Here you can enjoy fries & small snacks by the water’s edge.

In the nearby town center of Zaberfeld, the Stromberghof tempts with delicious homemade cakes & tarts and in summer with a charming garden café.

The path into town can be fun for kids along the "Water Worlds" nature trail.
