Christmas Market at Kloster Maulbronn

Description
More than two-thirds of the stalls showcase wood and handicrafts, floristry, nativity scenes, jewelry, toys, and other artisan crafts, ensuring the market’s high quality. Thanks to a culinary offering that is as varied as it is traditionally festive
– bratwurst, Schupfnudeln, vegetable rice pan, lentil curry, flame-grilled salmon, Maultaschen, or wild game goulash, to name just a few examples – your taste buds will be well satisfied. Meanwhile, mulled wine, children’s tea, and punch will warm you from the inside.
Music and singing groups create a festive atmosphere throughout both days. Christmas carols can be heard at various points around the market, inviting you to listen and sing along. Fairy tales and stories from around the world offer both young and old visitors engaging moments and a chance to warm up. Guided tours of the monastery are also offered during the market, and the literature museum in the monastery’s visitor centre is open both days.
