Wildpark Leipzig
Description
In the southern floodplain forest in Leipzig's Connewitz district, one of the city's most beautiful local recreation areas is operated: Wildpark Leipzig. Covering an area of 42 hectares, about 25 animal species and up to 250 wild animals from Central Europe live here.
The animal park is considered an attractive destination for families with children because all animal species can be easily observed thanks to their spacious enclosures. The green area strengthens its status as a recreational center with numerous cycling and hiking trails where you can discover the forest and its inhabitants. Playgrounds and the Wildparkgaststätte restaurant complete every visit to Wildpark Leipzig.
