Wingster Waldzoo

Covering around five hectares, more than 50 animal species live here – from playful monkeys to fascinating wolves and curious dwarf otters. This family-friendly zoo focuses on forest-dwelling animals, combining close animal encounters with active environmental education and nature-based experiences.

A special highlight is the walk-in enclosures for clawed monkeys and alpacas, where kids and adults alike can get up close to the residents. Peacocks, bantam chickens, and rabbits roam freely along the paths, adding a lively atmosphere to the forest zoo.

Children will find a varied area with two playgrounds and a lovingly designed petting zoo, complete with junior zookeeper gear. For a lasting experience, you can join the "Zookeeper for a Day" program, celebrate a birthday party at the zoo, or take part in exciting themed tours.

Unique activities like the escape rally through the zoo creatively combine adventure, puzzles, and animal watching.
