Advent Fair Rheda

Advent Fair Rheda is a charming, small, and very festive pre-Christmas event held at Doktorplatz in downtown Rheda 🎄. About two dozen stalls invite you to browse and indulge in traditional and seasonal products like crafts, treats, decorations, and gifts from local vendors.

Every evening features communal singing until the event ends – a highlight that encourages everyone to join in. For children, there is a great live program including a visit from Saint Nicholas on stage, bringing surprises for every child. There are also interactive concerts, such as the "Frank & Friends" wiggle-animal participatory concert.

Daily, various performances by children’s choirs from preschools and schools, dance groups, and youth choirs provide family-friendly entertainment. A large selfie photo wall offers a unique photo opportunity with a drone shot of the market and old town alleys.
In addition, there is a daily raffle with attractive merchandise vouchers and prizes, where you have double chances to win – the grand prize will be drawn Sunday evening at the closing celebration.

New this year is the photo contest "Impressions of the Advent Fair," where you can submit your best pictures and win great prizes like vouchers for local restaurants. The Advent Fair thus offers a versatile experience for families with kids from toddlers up to about age 12.
