Advent in den Grüben Burghausen

During the pre-Christmas season, Burghausen's old town shows its winter-romantic side from November 27 to 29, 2026, and again from December 4 to 6, 2026. As the first snowflakes drift down from the softly illuminated walls of the main castle between the colorful facades of the Grüben, the entire mile from the small "Bichl" square to Mautnerschloss transforms into a magical Christmas market. Here you’ll find lovingly decorated market stalls with handcrafted gifts and regional delicacies, as well as a festive program with music, glowing lights, and traditional crafts.
