Burghausen Castle Christmas

The world's longest castle transforms into a festive wonderland from December 11 to 13, 2026, showcasing its romantic Christmas charm. Amid this stunning setting, you can experience the pre-Christmas spirit up close. Browse numerous stalls and discover traditional Christmas items like tree decorations and nativity figures. There are also handmade treasures crafted from wood, clay, leather, felt, and shearling, alongside a wide variety of unique jewelry.

Christmas songs and melodies provide the musical backdrop, while a “Liachtlanzünder” shares stories about the Christmas season. Little visitors can look forward to exciting fairy tales brought to life through shadow plays. The Elisabeth Chapel hosts concerts as well as a devotional service, offering moments of reflection.
