The spacious, newly redesigned square at the Kall train station, featuring a section of the Roman canal from Sötenich, sets the stage for explanations and activities all about the Roman Eifel aqueduct. How was it possible nearly 2,000 years ago to build a gravity-based aqueduct over 95 kilometers long from the Eifel to Cologne? What materials were used? Here you will find answers to these and many more questions.
Program: Archaeologists explain the planning and construction of the Roman aqueduct. Report on a restoration project of sections of the Roman canal. Information booth of the Freundeskreis Römerkanal e. V., stand of the LVR-Kulturmobil.
