Betzdorf Weekly Market

Description
A tradition for 140 years
The Betzdorf Weekly Market
Every Tuesday and Friday, the Betzdorf Weekly Market takes place from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM – a tradition going back to 1879. The largest weekly market in northern Rhineland-Palatinate attracts young and old alike and has a long history.
Over 40 vendors offer a wide range of goods here. From vegetables and flowers to textiles and leather goods, as well as food and drinks for immediate consumption or to take away.
The market stretches around the historic town hall, covering parts of Hellerstraße, Bahnhofstraße, and Decizer Straße. As a special service, local taxi companies operate in various areas of the Betzdorf-Gebhardshain municipal association for a small fee, enabling older and less mobile people to visit the Betzdorf Weekly Market.
In addition, there are public restrooms on the market grounds in the old part of the town hall, including a wheelchair-accessible restroom. These restrooms are barrier-free at the back of the old building and accessible during market hours.
