On Sunday, December 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM, Martin Bruck-Peters will once again perform at the Kurhaus Bad Bevensen. For several years now, he has regularly staged a Christmas play there just before Christmas Eve.
The play "The Christmas Sleigh" first takes the audience into an earth cave where Hexelinchen and the dragon are shivering miserably. To get dry wood for a fire, they dare to go into the daylight and discover a sleigh, which they want to turn into firewood. They don't know that Santa Claus desperately needs this sleigh to deliver gifts to children. When a robber also wants to use the sleigh for sledding, things get hectic and Kasper steps in. Will there be a solution that works for everyone?
In "Bruckis Puppet Theater" plays, children are meant to marvel but also to participate by cheering and warning, making suggestions, and asking questions. This often leads to an exchange between the characters on stage and the young audience, which is why every performance is different and unique.
