Christmas Water Tower

The Lüneburg Water Tower invites you with its impressive 56-meter-high panoramic platform, where you can enjoy fantastic views over the city and surrounding area.

Regular public tours led by trained students take place every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Expect exciting insights into history, architecture, and sustainable topics related to water.

The program also features rotating exhibitions on water and sustainability, as well as a variety of family events, including an exclusive reading for preschool and elementary-age children about mindful water use, presented by children's author Nina Kwee.

For music fans, there are special highlights like sun and full moon concerts featuring a musical variety from traditional Cuban sounds to jazz and winter pop-up choirs.

The Water Tower shows commitment to sustainability and social integration with educational projects and support for the long-term unemployed – a living monument with a future.
