Christbaumtauchen in Mondsee

At Christbaumtauchen in Mondsee you experience an atmospheric Advent spectacle: a torchlight procession is musically accompanied by the St. Lorenzer Weisenbläsern, while dramatic torch swimmers glide across the wintry lake and divers lift illuminated Christmas trees ashore. 🎄

From the water Neptun emerges and hands out small gifts to the children – a special highlight for families. You can warm up with snacks, tea and mulled wine and enjoy the atmosphere.

The event is carried out by the local Wasserrettung as a volunteer project and is part of the Adventmarkts. Attendance is based on voluntary donations.
