Description
At the Perchtenmasken Ausstellung in Mondsee you can see hand-carved and hand-painted Perchten masks by the Mondsee craftsman Josef Mörtenhuemer (vulgo Stoana Sepp). Many pieces are made with a personal touch: the maker describes the work as «great joy, a passion» and often lets the original idea change during the creation.
You can visit the exhibition on the Advent opening weekend from 22. bis 24. November 2024 in the Konradraum im Kreuzgang; it is part of the Advent program and the Advent market.
The exhibition is family-friendly and suitable for you to visit with children. Visually, the masks are often striking to children 🎭
