Christkindl Ballonstart

The Christkindl Ballonstart is a decades-long pre-Christmas tradition in Christkindl 🎈. The Steyrer Christkindl is the 'passenger' who carries children's wish cards into the sky.

The scene was revived in 2022 by the Klub der Briefmarkensammler Steyr in cooperation with the Stadt Steyr and the Tourismusverband and takes place as part of an Advent market.

For you as a family the event is explicitly suitable for children of every age – ideal for dropping off wish cards together and enjoying the Christmas atmosphere.
