Description

On all four Advent weekends, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Christmas market extends from the market square up to the church square, inviting visitors to enjoy a festive stroll. One of this year's attractions is a "karaoke gondola" that brings winter tunes and cheerful vibes for unforgettable moments. Along the church square, numerous booths offer handcrafted arts and crafts, regional delicacies, and a variety of seasonal specialties. Naturally, mulled wine and non-alcoholic hot drinks are served to immerse visitors in cozy Advent spirit. For the youngest guests, a lovingly crafted children’s train circles around the market fountain daily starting at 4 p.m., bringing bright smiles to children’s faces. There will also be an elf hike along the Way of the Cross.

A special highlight awaits young and old on December 6: alongside the city orchestra’s concert in the parish church, a very special guest in red will visit the Weihnachtszauber, delighting children with small surprises and sparking festive anticipation.

The individually started mulled wine rally through Adenau’s downtown on December 13 and 14 also offers exciting variety.

The Adenauer Weihnachtszauber invites residents and visitors from near and far to share in the joy of the Christmas season and be enchanted by the unique atmosphere.

Tip: Arrive at the Christmas market without a car—the public transit stop is right at the market. Information on schedules can be found here: Fahrplanauskunft

Parking is free in the downtown area on all Advent weekends.
