Description

The Sayner Hütte is a special place where an important part of our industrial history is preserved and shared. It impresses not only with its historic buildings but also with innovative educational offerings, accessibility, and a diverse program for museum education.

Particularly impressive is the historic casting hall with its supporting cast iron structure and striking glass façade, where a multimedia installation of light, sound, and projectors brings the work at the blast furnace vividly back to life.

At the same time, the art casting gallery opened in 2023 offers a unique insight into the delicate art of iron casting and the former production variety of the Sayner Hütte.

In addition to exciting exhibitions and events, the Sayner Hütte provides insights into industrial history. This place is not only a site of remembrance but also a lively meeting place for art and culture. Under the motto "Fascination Human - Machine - Art," guided tours tailored to different groups convey information in an engaging and entertaining way in and around the Sayner Hütte; themed special exhibitions regularly complement the offerings.
