Forest Adventure for Kids at the House of Sustainability

Fox, deer, stag, and lynx – many different forest animals live in the Palatinate Forest! Although you rarely see them, they have a big influence on what our forests look like. Hunters have a special insight into these hidden connections in nature. What do deer like to eat most, when and where is the best time to watch animals, and why do some young trees need protection?

Join forest educator Martin Hinsberger on a discovery tour in the woods! Learn in a playful way why responsible hunting helps maintain a healthy forest. At the end, there will be a special animal visitor: the hunter's four-legged helper will show us what he can do!

Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
