Lüneburg Sings Christmas Carols - Sing Along! on Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, the festive event “Lüneburg Sings Christmas Carols – Sing Along!” invites you to join in singing together outdoors between the Town Hall and the Christmas market. 🎄

Here you can sing well-known Christmas carols with the whole family, supported by choir singers in the audience and the festive church brass band. A surprising a cappella performance with a local touch provides special musical highlights.

Alongside music and singing, the Peace Light from Bethlehem, its distribution and lighting – a symbolic moment for peace – as well as brief moving speeches create an atmosphere full of hope, love, and Christmas anticipation.

This ecumenically organized celebration strengthens the community and raises donations for “Der Gute Nachbar,” a relief initiative for financially strained people in Lüneburg and the surrounding area. Young volunteers contribute enthusiastically to ensuring everything runs smoothly.
