Description

The Oberboihingen Christmas Market, held as a small wooden cabin village in the festively decorated town center on the first Advent weekend, draws thousands of visitors from near and far every year.

Since 1990, the community has been hosting the three-day Christmas market, which traditionally kicks off the Advent season.

The romantic setting of the historic half-timbered Hohentwiel house, the Bartholomäus Church, and the town hall, the wide range of Christmas goods, the dedication of many market vendors, and the noticeable crowds in the village square all contribute to the enchanting mood and unique atmosphere of the Oberboihingen Christmas Market.

The market is a successful community effort involving clubs and institutions, private individuals and hobbyists, as well as commercial traders. Additionally, there is a very diverse cultural program with numerous live performances, concerts, readings, and exhibitions in the village square, the town hall, and Bartholomäus Church.
