Open Doors with the Mouse - Lernbauernhof Hubertushof in Irmtraut

On October 3, 2026, it's time again: Open Doors with the Mouse! This year, we will go on a quest together to find "Little Wonders." Little wonders happen every day – in companies, clubs, workshops, studios, laboratories, and many other places. Things that adults take for granted often seem like magic to children. And the best part: many of these little wonders are right outside our door – in our own city, neighborhood, community, and homeland.

From the farm to the heart – little wonders around cows and milk

How does grass actually become milk? Join us on a discovery journey through our dairy farm! Meet our cows and calves and find out what a cow eats, how it is milked, and the path the milk takes until it reaches the milk tank. At several hands-on stations, you can touch, estimate, try things out, and of course, ask lots of questions.

Please provide your preferred time when registering.

Opening hours: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Accessibility: Due to the structural conditions and paths through the barn, our farm is unfortunately not fully accessible. We would like to enable as many children as possible to participate. Therefore, we ask parents to inform us about any special needs or limitations their child has when registering. This way, we can check in advance what support is needed and whether and how participation in the event can be made possible.
